Description:
In this letter, Soviet Major-General Jerastov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Southern Army Group, informs Chief of Staff of the Hungarian People's Army Károly Csémi that a two-stage front war game for commanders and staff command will be conducted in the Southern Army Group between 21 and 25 June 1965. Major-General Jerastov further requests that the commander of the 5th Hungarian Army be given orders to prepare for the exercise and appoint all the necessary officers from the Hungarian People's Army to participate in the operation.
