Description: This report contains information on the military exercise Zapad 81, during which Soviet Minister of Defense Dmitry Ustinov introduced weapons systems used by the strategic offensive forces of the USSR to the invited defense ministers of the Socialist countries. The two weapons systems Ustinov elaborates upon are the RSD-20 medium-range strategic missile and the Kiev-class (Project 1143) aircraft carrier.
