Second Interkit Meeting, East Berlin, East Germany

28 Jan 1969
Description: This East German report, issued after the second Interkit meeting in East Berlin, discusses the situation in China under the leadership of Mao Zedong. Among the issues discussed are the upcoming ninth congress of the Chinese Communist Party and the foreign policy of Mao's regime, especially its relations with Asia, Africa, and Latin America. One of the decisions of the Interkit meeting is to launch an anti-Maoist propaganda campaign for radio and television. A documentation about events in China should be translated into English, French, Spanish, and Arabic and distributed to other countries.
