Memorandum by North Vietnam on Declaration to be Adopted by the PCC

6 Mar 1968
Description: This memorandum from the government of North Vietnam to the Political Consultative Committe (PCC) of the Warsaw Pact (WP) appeals to the WP members to publish a declaration condemning US aggression in Vietnam. Furthermore, the alliance members are urged to present the US with an ultimatum demanding that it cease military operations on Vietnamese territory immediately, and threatening to deliver WP aid to Vietnam in whatever form necessary, should the US fail to comply.
