Description:
At this meeting of the Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party, Romanian leaders Nicolae Ceauşescu and Emil Bodnăraş inform their colleagues of the proceedings of the Warsaw Pact's Tenth Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting held in Budapest. The Romanian delegation recounts how it managed to to exert pressure on the other Warsaw Pact countries not to include references to the incidents on the Sino-Soviet border, nor to close ranks against China, in a public communiqué.
