Description:
In this secret resolution adopted at the 1969 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Budapest, the Warsaw Pact members decide to establish a strengthened unified command, a Committee of Defense Ministers (CMD), a military council, a unified system of air defense, and a committee on technology. Attached to the resolution are the statutes of the CMD, the Unified Armed Forces (UAF), the Unified Command (including the statute of the technological committee), and the Military Council of the UAF, as well as the guidelines for the unified system of air defense.
