Description:
This action program of the Czechoslovak army for 1968 summarizes recent developments and formulates the tasks of Checkoslovak armed forces in the context of Warsaw Pact (WP) membership. The program supports the idea of a WP Military Council, aims at strengthening the structure of its military bodies, and formulates goals to this end. It call for more cooperation between the Soviet Union and the other members, especially in connection with the strategic concept and the military doctrine of the alliance.
