Description:
In this report, Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti provides information on Italy's involvement in the stay-behind networks of Western Europe during the Cold War. He outlines the structure of the Italian secret army codenamed Gladio that was run by the Italian military intelligence service (Servizio di Informazioni delle Forze Armate, SIFAR).
