Description:
This CIA report on Soviet Marshall Zhukov's speech to senior commanders of the Group of Soviet Forces Germany (GSFG) in East Berlin in March 1957 claims to stem from a reliable source and states complete confidence in the accuracy of Zhukov's statements. A key point in the report is the capability of Soviet forces to reach the English Channel within 46 hours in the event of war.
