Description:
This report on the first session of the 1968 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Sofia records the discussions on the agenda of the meeting: (i) the consolidation of the draft text of a treaty on nuclear non-proliferation, (ii) the consolidation of the text of a public declaration on the situation in Vietnam, and (iii) the establishment of a joint staff, military council, and a committee on technology as well as disagreements between the Romanian and the other six Warsaw Pact delegations on points one and three of the agenda.
