Description: This document is a Freedom of Information Act request to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) by Daniele Ganser. It refers to all records related to US decisions to support covert armies in Western Europe and to stay-behind networks in Italy, France, Turkey, Belgium, and Switzerland. Ganser refers to the US Church committee that in 1976 confirmed the existence of stay-behind networks in Western Europe. He also mentions that in 1990, Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti informed the parliament about Italy's clandestine services.
