Description: This East German draft communiqué, produced on the occasion of the Warsaw Pact's 1969 Political Consultative Committee (PCC) meeting in Budapest, condemns the Western countries. Nevertheless, Warsaw Pact member states are willing to foster détente by convening a conference on peace and security in Europe.
