About the Author

Ragna Boden

Dr. Ragna Boden is a research fellow in East European History at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Boden works on Soviet foreign policy towards newly independent states in the Third World with a special interest in Soviet-Indonesian relations. She is the author of 'Die Grenzen der Weltmacht: Sowjetische Indonesienpolitik von Stalin bis Brežnev' (2006) and of several articles in journals like Journal of Cold War Studies and Zeitschrift für Geschichtswissenschaft. She holds a PhD from the University of Marburg.
