The Hamoodur Rahman Commission Supplementary Report

The Hamoodur Rahman Commission was constituted by the new Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto government to investigate the causes of the defeat in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. After submitting its report in July 1972, it reopened its inquiry in 1974. The present supplementary report was submitted in October 1974. After parts of it had been leaked to Indian newspapers, the report was declassified by the Pakistani government in 2000.
